new artist statement.

this year has absolutely changed the way i view and think about art. i've grown to have such a passion towards art. art for me now is the most important way for me to express my feelings. not just in art class with paintings, but in life. music, drawing, coloring, sculptures, everything is now easier to view through a creative perspective. when given an assignment, i can almost instantly decide on how i will make it my own. this year has really matured my artist statement

2012

as my first project of 2012 i am working on a music piece. i chose the song 'collide' by howie day. this song is very important to me and i am very much looking forward to completing it. so far i really like it, i just hope that the end result comes out like my sketch has.
